Juventus are reportedly planning to take advantage of the uncertainty surrounding the future of Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres.
Gyokeres is expected to leave the reigning champions of Portugal at some point this summer. Though his destination remains unclear amid claims that he has "officially" rejected Manchester United and a reunion with former head coach Ruben Amorim.
Over the weekend, Portuguese outlet Record stated that United had been made aware of the Sweden international's decision to snub a move to Old Trafford after talks with the player's agents.
Instead, the report claimed Gyokeres' preference is a move to Arsenal. However, the Gunners are said to be growing in frustration over negotiations with both the player and his current club.
As a result of this stand-off, Juventus could swoop in for the 27-year-old who is coming off yet another superb goalscoring season, netting 54 goals in just 52 appearances across all competitions.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A giants are planning to take advantage of the uncertainty by hijacking any potential transfer to either Arsenal or Manchester United and bringing Gyokeres to Turin.

It is claimed that after talks with Gyokeres’ representatives, Juve have indicated they are ready to draw up a contract worth £11m-a-year.
Having finished fourth in Serie A last season, thus qualifying for the Champions League, it would appear Juventus want more firepower as their top scorer for the 2024/25 campaign was Dusan Vlahovic with 15 goals in all competitions.
