Love Island 2025 is off to a very dramatic start. Just two episodes in and islanders have already been subject to a firepit and bombshells.

The reality show returned to our screens on Monday night (June 9) and according to ITV, drew an audience of 1.4 million across all devices.

It will run for eight weeks, hosted once again by Maya Jama, and will air every night of the week except for Sunday.

As usual, the season began with 12 singles, however this year one contestant dropped out for personal reasons before the show started. This meant that an uneven group of 11 lads and ladies touched down at the villa on night one.

But as the islanders prepared for one of their day-ones to be sent home, two bombshells were sent in. So who are the new boys?

Conor Phillips

The 25-year-old rugby player from Limerick, Ireland has said he's looking for "someone who is really sure of themselves".

He said of his “type”: "Ambitious, a bit of a go-getter and good craic. I like dark eyes and I don't mind a dominant woman."

On his turn-offs, he added: "Being too needy, or needing to do everything together. I like someone to be independent and do their own thing and then we come together and do our thing."

Blu Chegini

Blu is a 26-year-old construction project manager from London, who has been announced as one of the faces to enter the villa this summer.

Speaking about what he's looking for in a partner, he said: "Someone who is family oriented, has a lot of love to give and a lot of love to receive. Personality goes a long way."

Megan Moore

Megan from Southampton is a musical theatre performer and works as an energy broker.

Talking about what she wants in a partner, she said: "I’d like to meet someone who is tall, with a nice tan, nice eyes and a nice smile. He needs to have a good fashion sense and a really good, funny personality that I can get on with."

Helena Ford

Helena, 29, is from London and is friends with 2018 cast member Zara McDermott.

She said: "I feel like Northern people have much more banter than Southerners. If you look through my previous dating history, you’ll see I clearly go for personality. You can pretty much laugh me into bed."

She describes herself as a "good flirt" and has a go-to tactic when trying to flirt with men.

Tommy Bradley

Tommy is a 22-year-old landscape gardener who doesn’t want someone who “takes themselves too seriously”.

He explained he wants: "A girl who is very ambitious, with a big personality, caring, but also someone that doesn’t take themselves too seriously.
