A children’s social worker has been exposed as a drug dealer and criminal underworld armourer.
Chloe Scott was caught when police stopped a 15-year-old boy at Tower Hill Underground Station in east London.
After accessing the child’s mobile phone, officers established that Scott, 27, instructed him to sell and transport drugs on her behalf in December 2022.
Further enquiries were carried out and when armed Scotland Yard officers stopped Scott’s car, they found 500g of cocaine and five large hunting knives in Seven Sisters Road, Islington, on June 3, 2023.
Scott — a registered referral and assessment social worker for local authorities, including Bexley Council — had been in regular contact with Miles Addy, 28, who was serving a prison sentence for a firearms offence.
The pair were running a cocaine empire across London and the South East, Snaresbrook Crown Court heard.
Videos found on Scott’s phone also revealed they were also involved in selling weapons, including handguns and knives.

From behind bars, Addy directed Scott to addresses to deliver them to customers.
By matching serial numbers, one of their firearms linked to a murder investigation. Authorities suspended Scott from her role.
Scott, of Whitehead Close, Edmonton, and Addy, of King Alfred Avenue, Lewisham, were each sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment having admitted conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and gun offences.
Detective Inspector Damian Hill, from the Metropolitan Police’s Specialist Crime team that led the investigation, said: “As police officers we all too often see the devastating consequences of drugs and weapons on the streets of London.

“These dangerous offenders helped fuel violent crime and we won't stand for it.
“The overwhelming evidence we gathered, supported by British Transport Police and HM Prison and Probation Service left them with little choice but to admit to their offending and they will both now face lengthy prison sentences.
“Across the Met we remain committed to tackling violence and our hard work is paying off. Homicide and knife crime is down - and seen here we are also dismantling serious and organised crime groups.”
A spokesman for Bexley Council said: “Chloe Scott was a social worker supplied to us by an agency for a short period.
“We understand she has also worked at other local authorities.
“She has not worked for us since 2023.”
